A personal interview is strongly encouraged and is available to any student who plans to enroll (the following Fall) as either a first-year or transfer student. Interviews are designed as a give-and-take: the interviewer will guide the course of the conversation, but there'll be plenty of time for you to ask questions about Bowdoin not addressed in other materials.
An admissions staff member or a Bowdoin senior, one of fourteen seniors carefully selected and trained for this purpose.
Schedule an interview
On-campus interviews are available throughout the year from the third week of May until early December

Class Visits
Experience Bowdoin academics firsthand! Visit an introductory course in a discipline that you have never studied, witness student-faculty discussion in a small interdisciplinary seminar, or observe how our state-of-the-art science center enhances instruction. Faculty emails are available through Bowdoin's online directory.
Please plan to arrive at a class five minutes before it is scheduled to begin to introduce yourself to the instructor. Our faculty ask that you plan to stay for the entire class.
Overnight Visits
If you wish to attend a tour and an information session, you need only register for either the tour OR the information session, not both.
Those students scheduling on-campus interviews need only register for the interview.
*All visitors should obtain a parking pass from the reception desk in the admissions building.
